With its 7-inch 1080p touchscreen and plenty of controls, the Logitech G Cloud looks a lot like portable consoles like the Razer Edge and Ayaneo Air Pro, or a smaller version of the Nintendo Switch or Steam Deck. That being said, the specifications are more contained, with a Qualcomm 720G SoC, 4 GB of RAM, as well as Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 5. Technical characteristics that can be explained by this console has been designed for cloud gaming from services like Xbox Game Pass and GeForce Now. It is also possible to use it to remotely enjoy your own games from your PC or console.
Given its fairly limited specs, the asking price of €359 may be cringeworthy. And since the first units shipped in December, Logitech was able to add a number of new features, like virtual button mapping for touch-based mobile games, control customization settings, and official support for ShadowPC. This service allows you to “rent” a relatively powerful PC, starting at €29.99 per month, and play on it.

Either way, the G Cloud console has been successful enough for Logitech to market it in territories other than North America. As mentioned earlier, Logitech is also adding up to six months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription (depending on country), one month of NVIDIA GeForce Now Priority subscription and one month of Shadow PC in the package. The console will be available from May 22 for €359 or £329.
