Beyond Sports will bring its expertise in sports data and technology to Sony Group Corporation.
Thanks to its proprietary engine, Beyond Sports can use player tracking data to create photorealistic simulations, some of which are used by professional sports clubs, but the Dutch tech company has developed a particular niche in rendering graphical representations that target younger fan demographics. She can bring an additional layer of data expertise to Sony Group Corporation teams, especially in human movement sciences as well as modular and scalable applications. These initiatives are platform-agnostic, meaning every conceivable output format is ready to go instantly, from traditional television to fully immersive mixed reality headsets, positioning themselves as the gateway to live sports in the metaverse. .

Beyond Sports with Sony: From Data to Digital Engagement
In the Netherlands, Beyond Sports is at the origin of the Gameface application, which allows the interactive broadcasting of Eredivisie matches. Fans can customize features such as replacing players with cartoons, recreating the match on Mars, and even superimposing their own face on an athlete. When a Brazilian player scored a goal, the highlight was not available in his home country, but a recreation rendered in Gameface has been viewed more than 300,000 times on social media. Beyond Sports also has its roots in immersive worlds and can create compelling 3D representations in VR and AR, but is not limited to these mediums. His creations can be viewed on smartphones or websites, or integrated into digital worlds such as, for example, Roblox or a game on PlayStation consoles.
